This program is a discussion of identity of Middle Eastern characters in Graphic Novels and how it is received and perceived in the place where they live. Our presentation and round table discussion will include examinations of the newest Ms. Marvel: No Normal, Persepolis 2, and Arab in America. Several copies of these books will be available for 2 week check out at the Santa Monica Public Library starting in September (reading Graphic Novels prior to the event not required, but encouraged)
