DISMISSAL TRANSPORTATION CHANGES FOR YOUR STUDENT
You must call by 2:00pm if you are changing your students dismissal procedure. Teachers will not change the procedure of dismissal unless there is a note given to them or a phone call from the office received by 2:00pm. This is a safety precaution and we appreciate your help.

Check out PTC (Parent Teacher Connection)! We had an excellent first meeting and would love to get to know your family as well! The next PTC meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 8th. Be sure to like Thompson Crossing Elementary and Thompson Crossing Elementary PTC on Facebook!

Notes from the Nurse
- Please return consent to treat forms to the school nurse as soon as possible. Keep in mind, without a consent to treat form on file, your student can not be seen in the clinic.
- Any student requiring additional immunizations, now is the time to schedule those appointments! We need all students current on immunizations by Tuesday, October 25. Please see the flyer below if you are interested in the Back-To-School Vaccination Clinic offered by Community Health Network and Walgreens.

Imaginarium Happenings
In case you haven’t heard, The Imaginarium is the Art Room at TC! We are busy using our imaginations as we create! This month we have been working on pictures for Art to Remember. This is a fund raiser just for the art program to raise money for materials like clay, printmaking inks, and new paint brushes! Soon you will receive an order form showcasing your child’s art on many different products! You can order bookmarks, coffee mugs, phone covers, keychains, ornaments and many other items personalized with your child’s amazing art. These make great gifts! Keep an eye out for order forms in the coming weeks! I really appreciate your support!
Opportunities to create outside of class are coming up as well. Thompson Crossing’s Veteran’s Day Program is November 11th. We need art that honors and celebrates our Veterans and to greet them as they enter our halls. One work will be chosen for the cover of the program. Submit work on 8 ½” x 11” or 9” x 12” paper to Mrs. Billue by October 8th.
The Haunted House Art Contest sponsored by the Indianapolis Children’s Museum is another opportunity to get creative! See guidelines for the contest below. Pick up an entry form from Mrs. Billue.
Good luck and happy creating!
