News from Principal Lamothe

Hello PRS Wizards!
Let’s welcome Anne Bernazanni to the front office staff as our Admin Assistant II. She is our new hire replacing Alisa’s Zimmerman who moved on to a new opportunity. Anne comes with a lot of background in office work and has experience in many programs we already use here in Hingham. She will be working full time hours and will be here from 8-3 to alleviate some of the duties Suzanne Price has.
Also, Suzanne Price our Administrative Assistant I will be headed out on maternity leave on February 15th. Suzanne will be gone for about 8 weeks or so while she tends to her new family. She is expecting a little girl and we wish her all the best. She will be surely missed but the office will be in good hands with Mrs. Bernazanni as mentioned above.
Thank YOU!! ❤️❤️
On be half of the staff, I want to send our sincere gratitude for your support and loving signs you made for our school community before all school meeting. The staff was very appreciative and felt the love from you all.

Reminders
Valentine's Day
As Valentine's Day is shortly approaching and you are wanting to do something for your child's class, please remember under the handbook it says, "In accordance with School activities and celebrations that include food, will be limited to specific curriculum based activities and special seasonal celebrations." The faculty council (this consists of a staff member from every grade including special education and specialists) decided this past week at our monthly meeting that Valentine's Day celebrations will not be considered a seasonal celebration under the policy. This helps make sure all students can participate and we don't have to worry about allergies or our diabetic students in our school community being left out.
