This week our students learned about the letter Aa and the color red. Our pre-k class listened to the read aloud “Johnny Appleseed”. We wore little pots on our heads just like Johnny Appleseed. The students had to predict which apple he/she would like BEST; the red, green or yellow one. The students used their 5 senses to determine if their predictions were correct. We followed a recipe and used ingredients to make homemade applesauce. The students enjoyed watching Mrs. Tammy peel the apples using the apple peeler.
