ELF Camp
On August 3,"ELF's" (Engaged Learning Facilitators) met at Rocky Ridge for a day of fellowship, team building, and learning. The ELF's participated in a Breakout called the "Teacher's Introspective". We then discussed the role of an ELF through the Design Thinking process. The ELF's created a prototype to represent their thoughts on what is an ELF. Stay tuned for the final product. The tech coaches are creating one prototype to represent all of the prototypes created from each grade-level group at Camp. The end of the day was spent exploring different passion projects with each ELF choosing one focus area for the year. In upcoming issues, we will highlight one passion project.
The passion projects included:
- Global Collaboration
- 20% Time and Passion Projects in the Classroom
- Coding/3D/Robotics
- Digital Citizenship
- Digital Portfolios/Digital Notebooking
- Gaming
- Making/Engineering
- PBL/Design Thinking
- PLN's
- Storytelling
- TedEd Clubs/Wonder League
