Great Week!!
Dear HAWK Families,
What is new at the Grove??? Grove Leadership and Belonging (LAB) is a new opportunity this year. LAB groups help fill leadership roles throughout Hazel Grove. Each student in 3rd-5th grade narrowed a list of 8 LABs to their interests. Students received their LAB assignment last week. For example, Hawk Patrol LAB helps with student safety during arrival and dismissal. Kindergarten-2nd grade will grow their leadership by participating in belonging experiences within their own classrooms and in grade level activities. We are proud of all of our HAWKS and are excited to watch them grow in their leadership, ownership, and responsibility.
I'd also like to invite students and family members to join us at RACE FOR THE FUTURE. This will be a fun time to walk/jog/run with friends. Details are below!
