Prinicpal Message

Hello CCS families, 2022 is almost here. Wow does time fly when you are having fun. It doesn’t feel like the school year should be approaching the halfway mark but here we are.

With the coming of the New Year, I like to take the time to reflect on the year that was and the year to come. This year I can’t help but think of all the challenges and changes we have faced successfully. We at CCS have worked incredibly hard to keep our school COVID safe while still offering a fulfilling educational experience. Having the students here in person, full time, has made this place feel so alive. Education is ever evolving but the one thing that never changes is how the relationships with students and staff are what make a school a special place.

To wrap up December we hope our students and families enjoyed the virtual Christmas Concert, our turkey dinner and the 12 Days of Christmas. In the coming months we have a lot to look forward to including our junior high continuing basketball, grades 2-5 doing swimming lessons for the first time in a long time and we have our always popular Literacy Week.

I hope everyone has a tremendous Christmas holiday and a fabulous New Year.

Bottle Drop Off!!

On Friday, January 14th from 4:00-6:00 pm Grade 6 - 8 students will be doing a bottle drop! This is to help raise money for the Grade 6 class trip, upcoming band trips and other field trips through out the year. We ask thats students in Grade 6 - 8 please sign up with Mr. Falk to help with this day!
