From Dr. Gruman
Dear Northwest Families,
We have enjoyed a great week of learning activities and many classes utilized our outdoor spaces in this warmer weather. We were excited to recognize and celebrate our 72 junior and senior candidates inducted to our Cougar Chapter of the National Honor Society! We are so proud of their outstanding accomplishments.
Below are a couple of reminders for this week:
- As the weather changes to colder temperatures, please encourage your student to wear layers. Some areas are warmer or colder in our building, so sweatshirts and sweaters make great layers. We cannot support bringing blankets to class as those interfere with the classroom activities.
- Parents of seniors - please see information below from Student Services regarding graduation. There is an upcoming deadline for purchasing the cap, gown, tassel and stole package from Jostens. Please complete those purchases by the November 30 deadline or reach out to your student's counselor if you have concerns. You will also receive email messages through Skylert with more information and optional packages to purchase.
Have a wonderful weekend!
All the best,
Dr. Lisa Gruman
