BMS Fall Book Fair

Book Fair was held during the first week in November. It was very successful. We earned a cash profit of $533.46, took lots of good books from the fair for the library, and still have about $95 in Scholastic dollars to use for our Reading Incentive program rewards.

What went well and what we still need to work on...

Successes

  • Battle of the Books team organized, co-sponsored by Christopher Fleming
  • A/V storage room cleaning - about 90% done
  • Moved Cardiel's workspace to the workroom to provide quiet space for test-reading job
  • Makerspace plan in progress

Challenges

  • iPad/Lab reservation procedures with teachers (ongoing)
  • High numbers of overdue books
