Komodo (Komodo Dragon)

-Komodo dragons are the largest lizards in the world that are not extinct.
-Komodo dragons can be found in four islands in Indonesia (Komodo, Rinca, Flores, Gili motang).
-Komodo dragons grow as long as 3 metres and can weigh up to 150kg.Their average life span is 30 years+ in the wild.
-They can also run up to about 18kph.
-They are carnivours and they can eat animals such as deers, pigs, carrion, smaller komodo dragons and water buffalos.
-They use their tounge to smell, taste and to sense chemicals in the air.
-Komodo dragons are endangered. they ha been hunted illegally and legally.
-Komodo dragons mate betwwen May and August. Female komodo dragons lay about 30 eggs.

Harimau (Tiger)

-Sumatran tigers live in the Indonesian island of Sumatra.
-There are less than 400 Sumatran tigers that exist.
-Sumatran tigers are the smallestsurviving tiger subspeices.
-Male sumatran tigers can grow up to 2.43 m in length from their head to their tail and can weigh up to 120 kg. Female sumatran tigers are smaller. they can grow up to 2.13m in length and can weigh up to 91kg.
-Sumatran tigers are carnivours. They can eat small animals such as fish, monkeys and fowls. thhey also eat deers and wild pigs.
-They have no exact breeding month.
-Habitat destruction and deforestation might be one of the reasons why sumatran tigers are endangered.
-Sumatran tigers can live up to 10-15 years in the wild and 16-20 years in captivity.

Monyet (Monkey)


-Proboscis monekeys are monkeys with long noses.
-They live in Borneo
-Male proboscis monkeys use their nose to atract female proboscis monkeys.
-Proboscis monkeys eat fruit that is unripe.The sugars in ripe fruits can cause them to have fattal bloating.
-They are omnivores and they eat leaves, seeds, unripe fruits and insects.
-A proboscis monkey can live for up to around 20 years.


Anjing (Dog)

-The domestic dog is a subspecies os the grey wolf.
-The term 'domestic dog' is generally used for both domesticated and feral varieties.
-The dog was the first domesticated animal and has been the most widely kept working, hunting and pet in the human hitory.
-The word dog can also refer to the male of a canine species.
-The oldest fossil specimens genetically linked to the modern dog is 33,000-36,000 years ago.
