4th Grade Holiday Concert

Big picture
Congratulations to the Phelps 4th grade Chorus under the direction of Mr. Sawyer for an AMAZING holiday concert! The energy and enthusiasm for singing was a perfect way to help spread some holiday cheer. We can't wait for your next performance...BRAVO!

For those that missed the performance or want to see it again, here is the recording put together by Agawam Media

Robotics

Students in 3rd grade are working on robotics in their technology classes with Mrs. Woishnis. Students had an opportunity to program a robot to follow commands. Students worked in teams to put their coding and debugging skills to work. The lesson involved problem solving and teamwork!

Crystal Apple Award

Every month, the teachers and staff at Phelps have an opportunity to nominate another staff member for the Crystal Apple Award. The staff recipient for November was Ms. Senke. Coming into her first year here at Phelps, Ms. Senke has made a great addition to the Connections staff and our overall school community. Besides being a caring and compassionate person, she has proven to be a complete natural! Her support has made a tremendous difference to the students she helps in such a short amount of time. We are incredibly lucky to have her on our team.

Mayflower Marathon

The Mayflower Marathon food drive was a huge success! Thank you so much to all of the families who participated. With your help and generosity we were able to donate almost $4,000 worth of food. This is nearly double of what we donated in 2019! We also had a live shout out from Bax and O’Brien at our drop off. Congratulations goes out to our top collecting classroom...ROOM 22! They earned a pizza party with Mr. V. and Mrs. L.

Again, thank you for your generosity! Next year, we are aiming for $5,000!!!

Holiday Craft

Students worked hard earning their Cool Coupons to participate in our PBIS Winter Craft. Students made little light up snowman figures. Here is Mrs. Typrowicz helping a first grade student!
