Amendment 4
The 4th amendment states that in order to convict someone of a crime, there must be evidence. In order to obtain physical evidence, authorities must ask a judge for a search warrant. A search warrant gives police permission to search a person's property. Under this amendment, authorities must also ask a judge for an arrest warrant in order to take someone into custody for a crime.
Amendment 5
The 5th amendment protects American citizens from being tried for the same crime after being proven innocent, this is called double jeopardy. It also protects us from being forced to testify against ourselves, which is known as self-incrimination. This amendment also guarantees the due process of law. The government cannot take away someone's life, liberty, or property without going through the proper steps set forth in our laws. Also, all trials will be set forth before a grand jury.

Amendment 6
The 6th amendment guarantees a fast, fair, and public trial. it also gives everyone the right to an attorney, and one will be assigned by the court if the person convicted cannot afford one. This amendment protects the rights of the accused.
