Facts About Mexican Wolves
Mexican Wolves are also called "Lobo". Once they roamed throughout parts of southwestern united states and Mexico. They are on the top of the food chain. The White Mountain Apache tribe told story about how wonderful wolves are and to never kill them if you don't have to.
Details About the Story
New settlers trapped and killed the Mexican wolves. In the late 1800s a railroad connected the eastern United States to the west was finished. On page 18 you can learn the time frame of when things happened in the story.
