Intro and Thesis
As we speak, the middle east is embattled in a deadly war against the terrorist group ISIS. This war has already claimed thousands of lives and has changed the middle east forever.
Thesis: ISIS, a brainwashing and enslaving terrorist group, has made a terrible impact on the children of the Middle East, causing their lives to be negatively affected forever.
ISIS Elementary
Due to the fact that ISIS has a stranglehold on much of Iraq, they have had to establish something very surprising: elementary schools. In these schools, kids are learning,"history and religion from a textbook that depicts America's statue of liberty with its head blown off... in its place emerges the black flag of the Islamic State" (Wang 1). What they are being told in these schools will stay with them forever. The idea of "Death to America" will be ingrained in their heads. This will have an everlasting impact on the child's life and their future will be forever corrupted by ISIS.
ISIS' Child Price Tags
In another terrible act of violence, captured minority children are being sold as slaves in ISIS controlled territory. The children have have price-tags placed on them and are auctioned off to horrible places. As a result, "children of minorities have been captured in places where ISIL has its strength...they are sold as slaves. There are hundreds of catpured kids" (Botelho 2). Obviously, this is one of the most atrocious practices in the modern world, and involves child abuse and even death for the captured children. At such a young age, these kids will sadly have their lives taken from them.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the terrorist group known as ISIS has done terrible things to the children in the middle east. ISIS is a vile group that corrupts children's minds, captures kids, and leaves a negative impact on their lives. Now, it's up to the western nations to liberate the middle east.
