🎭 Calling all theatre-lovers! 🎭
Please join the RMS Drama Department on Tuesday, December 20th at 7:00pm to enjoy our first annual Night of Scenes! Our drama class has prepared five scenes of varying genres that showcase the acting and technical skills learned this semester. Prepare to be taken on a journey filled with laughter, love, laziness, group-project-inspired rage, and some good old-fashioned evil scheming.

Computer Science Programming Club
Mr. LaPorte will be supervising an after school programming club at Roosevelt that will be taught by MVHS Computer Science teacher, Jeffrey Yee, and MVHS CS students. The club will start in January and meet once a week. Students will learn how to program in Java and will create a 2D graphics animated program. The club will allow students to apply their math skills and use their imagination to create a fun and engaging animated project.
Students will stay after school from 3:45 until 5:45 P.M., in Mr. Guerzon's classroom C-5. Club will meet on eight consecutive Thursdays and students should be expected to make all 8 club meetings. There will only be up to 15 7th and 8th graders that will be part of the club. And students must be earning a "C" or better in their Math and Science classes. Parent permission is required. Dippin' Dots Fridays are back! On sale for $5 during all lunch periods. All proceeds support RMS PTA.
Support the PTA!
PTA connects families, schools, and communities by providing programs and services at your child’s school. PTA is the nation’s largest volunteer-led child-advocacy association working to drive improvements in the education, health, and well-being of all children and families. When you are a member of PTA, you are an advocate for your child and for all children, and you are able to vote at Association meetings held twice a year, receive benefits by being a PTA member, and most importantly, support Roosevelt Students. You can also make direct donations to support grade-level grants, which provide funds for 6th-grade Greek Day, 7th-grade Safari Park field trip, and 8th events as well as other projects and programs. Please help support our programs and students! You can join by visiting this site: https://jointotem.com/ca/oceanside/roosevelt-middle-pta
