Job Requirements

14+ years of relevant work experience in large enterprise environments with at least 5 years work experience in enterprise applications architecture. Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence planning, design, and implementation.Extensive experience with information architecture development and implementation across the ERP, MRP, HR, CRM, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence domains.Must have 10+ years of progressive responsibility working directly with modern, large-scale enterprise application implementations, including PeopleSoft, Oracle, Siebel, Hyperion.Experience with ITAR regulations and government contracts.Extensive experience architecting technical solutions to business problems.Demonstrated experience delivering sophisticated business solutions with a high user adoption rate.Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis.Must have a solid understanding of all aspects information technology in large enterprises.Ability to obtain a US DOD Security clearance.Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, methodologies, and practices.In-depth technical knowledge of information architecture and design principles.Strong knowledge of vendor evaluation and negotiation principles and practices.Successful history of acting as technical lead on full life-cycle information architecture development and application/data integration projects.

Preferred/Additional Skills:
MBA or M.S. Engineering or other technical discipline.

Job Responsibilities

Works with senior business and technology leaders with Corporate and Business Unit functions to understand business objectives, challenges, and success criteria.Develops high level systems and functional requirements for enterprise systems.Develops and maintains enterprise application roadmaps including dependencies, funding profiles, and key milestones.Develops architecture principles to guide both day-to-day needs and annual planning/prioritization initiatives.Must present to executive management and business leaders to gain consensus on strategy in a federated model.Works within a distributed IT organization to optimally implement large, complicated systems (ERP/MRP/Financials/Analytics, etc.).Drives consolidation and simplification with reference architectures.Drives the development and application of architectural principles, models, methods, and practices for information architecture development.Provides oversight and guidance to project architects to ensure the consistent employment of those standards for sound solution architecture delivery.Builds strategic relationships with senior business executives to ensure the successful flow down of business requirements to projects for implementation. Coordinates with key vendors and industry experts to map product transitions and upgrades into application roadmaps.20% Travel Required.

Education Requirements

Must have a bachelor degree which is three to five years of college. Requires major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields. PMP certification with Project Management experience.

There are advantages to have more experiences or a higher degree for my job. You will be able to have a better chance at being more success than most of the engineers. A higher degree will get you in a better position that pays well. More experience can decrease the time it can take to move to a higher position.

Higher Education

You will need a higher education to work in this filed. Reason being is that, you will need to be able to adapt to leaning a bunch of information and applying it right then and there. You will need to be in a computer course of some kind.

Pay Range

($115,348 - $134,433) Salary for a year.
