Forest Glen Students Learn about Families

During a first grade Family Stories unit, Forest Glen students learned the significance of their names, created family trees, and shared family traditions. They culminated the unit by inviting families to come to school to read with their students for a Family Reading Day.

Hadley 8th Grade Band Students Selected to Perform in Festival

Congratulations to four Hadley 8th Grade Band musicians who were selected to participate in the prestigious Illinois Music Education Association District 9 Festival. The District 9 festival includes many school districts from area counties. Only 130 students are selected to participate. These students will be recognized and will perform at the Board of Education meeting on Monday, December 12.
