Character, Cooking and College!
Get Moving with a Dance Party! Not only can dance parties be silly and fun for all ages, dancing is a great form of exercise, improves coordination and flexibility, helps you gain spatial awareness, and can help you focus. | Building CharacterWe all have qualities that makes us who we are. These are called Character Traits. These are things we can’t see but can feel. A few character Traits are Honesty, Fairness, Safety, Cooperation and Caring. Spend some time today thinking about each one. What other character traits can you think of? | Inside Outside Here is an easy activity to help recognize Character Traits. This is great for all ages, the whole family and a fun way to recognize each others positive qualities! |

Virtual College Tour
College tours are always a favorite in club and thanks to internet we can now visit any school in the world! Learn about some of our favorite local and not so local colleges and universities. 7 to be exact! Why our favorites? These are the schools YLD staff have attended.

Northern Kentucky UniversityNKU is a growing metropolitan university with more than 14,000 students in Highland Heights. NKU offers 90 undergraduate programs; the most popular are Organizational Leadership, Nursing, Social Work, and Computer Information Technology. Check out the NKU campus by visiting their website and exploring the interactive map! See pictures and read about the various buildings and athletic venues on campus. Also be sure to check out the videos that accompany each location. Interested in getting a more detailed look at the university? Sign up for virtual group tours and open houses. Are you a high school sophomore? NKU’s sophomore showcase is happening online this year and is designed to give you a head start on college planning.
