Battle of the Books
On Friday, May 20, the San Marcos CISD Office of Academics hosted their annual Battle of the Books event. 5 SMCISD elementary campuses participated and we are incredibly proud of each student participant and their campus librarian. To prepare for this event, students had to read 20 pieces of literature and everyone in attendance was blown away by their comprehension skills! Shoutout to MC, Mr. Nevarez, and the staff that helped judge and make this event possible. Congratulations to Mendez for winning the 2022 Battle of the Books competition.
