A Message from Mr. Lysowski
North Lake Family,
As we look ahead to the last week of the 2020-2021 school year, I would like to thank the entire North Lake family for an extraordinary school year. I am excited and optimistic about the future of our program and the opportunities that the 2021-2022 school year (and beyond) will bring us. This week, we have early release on Tuesday through Friday. We are encouraging students to attend field day and the awards ceremony in person to build camaraderie and to celebrate with their peers.
Parents and guardians, this is a friendly reminder that you can view your student's grades or schedule at any time by logging on to PowerSchool. If you have a question about your student's dual credit grades, parents can have their student access their grades on eCampus or feel free to reach out to Dr. Baker or their dual credit facilitator.
Thank you for your continued support!

Dallas ISD mask protocol update following Gov. Abbott May 18 announcement
Gov. Greg Abbott on May 18 announced that public schools and district facilities cannot require masks starting June 5. Until that time, Dallas ISD will continue requiring masks be worn at schools and district facilities. After June 5, everyone is highly encouraged to continue wearing masks inside schools, on buses, and all district facilities, as an added measure of safety for all.
Dallas ISD remains committed to continue following social distancing and sanitation protocols and will make every effort to offer services like student and staff vaccinations, as resources become available. We will continue studying best practices in the coming weeks and will share updates with our students, staff and families.

The function of the SBDM Committee is to support and advise the principal in establishing the campus goals and plan for improvement. The SBDM committee serves as an advisory body. The SBDM, then, does not make policy, but advises the principal, who then ultimately decides on policy.
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month. Meetings will be held virtually until further notice.
How do I join SBDM?
Just show up. The meeting schedule can be found by accessing the calendar on our campus website.
Are there dues or fees to join?
There are no fees or dues involved to join. SBDM is not a fundraising committee. The purpose is to advise the principal.
What is the composition of SBMD?
SBDM is comprised of all staff, parents, community members representing a business or organization in the area, and students.
