Lil Steamer Families --
In a few weeks, FES will be undergoing construction as we expand our campus to best meet the ever growing needs of our students and community. I will be sending out a detailed letter soon regarding those details.
At this time, we are not sure on what impact this may have on our morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up procedures. We may need to make a few changes to ensure student safety and traffic flow.
As such, the best general guidance is to pull your vehicle ahead as far as you can (this means driving past your child(ren) or even the flagpole during these times. The further you pull ahead, the more vehicles are able to move up and unload/load students. This improves our overall time and student safety.
Again, I will be sending out a more detailed letter in the next week or two to provide more clarity on the exciting changes that are coming to the Greatest Little Elementary School in the Universe!
Stay warm this weekend!

Looking ahead to the second semester, I hope you will take a few minutes to read the linked document about the Benefits of Routines for Children. It's a great read and includes some easy to implement ideas for students at all grade levels.
Stay warm Steamer friends!
