Book Fair, Open House, Read Across America- A Huge Success!
Last week was a great example of what happens when we all come together - great things happen! I can't tell you how proud I am to work with such a dedicated, passionate group of leaders!
A special thanks to everyone for making QVE the best place to learn and discover!
Ms. Lopez/Ms. Yoo classes perform Community Service Project!
A huge part of being and becoming a leader is serving others. These students had an opportunity to speak with representatives and meet a few of the animals as they determined needs and how they could help. Below are a few questions students posed to gather more information about ways they could help:
Talking Points:
-What does your organization do (this is where you can talk about the whole adoption process, where the animals come from, homeless animals, population control, foster homes, etc.)
-How did your organization come to be?
-Who runs the organization?
-What things do you need the most help with (raising awareness, raising money, other donations, finding homes, etc.)?
-What can a little kid do to help an organization like yours?
- Maybe include some inspiring rescue stories if you have any.
Thanks Ms. Lopez for providing students with this wonderful opportunity!
