What is a Noun?

Noun Rules for Making Nouns Plural
If a noun has a consonant before the y, change the y to i and add ies.
puppy=puppies
lady=ladies
IF a noun has a vowel (a, e, i, o, u) before the y, keep the y and add s.
toy=toys
boy=boys
Irregular Plural Nouns
Some nouns change their spelling or don't change at all when they become plural. You will have to memorize these nouns.
