Dragon Tales
Week of January 30, 2023
Dooley Family Updates
We are about one month away from our Spring Open House the evening of March 2 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Teachers are just about done with our middle of the year assessments and should be sending out information to schedule parent conferences.
Thank you to PTA for the Family Engagement Event on Internet Safety! Lots of learning for parents and fun activities for the children was experienced last Thursday evening! Dooley Faculty and Staff also appreciated the treats for us last Friday the 27th as we were able to arrange duty free lunch and recess for our teachers, too!
Scroll down to learn about new additions to Dragon Tales such as happenings like the Multicultural Family Event at Armstrong MS for our community on February 27th, and much more!
Don't forget to access our Dragon Prints -- Dooley PTA's newsletter for information about the Penny Wars Fundraiser, All Pro Dads this Friday, upcoming Spirit Nights, the return of Chili Cook-off and Cupcake Wars, as well as tuition-based after school programs, and more!
If you haven't already, please make sure to opt in to our District's Text Messaging feature by texting “Y” to 67587 so that you are able to receive information from our campus in another manner.
Lastly, do reach out to me and to Plano ISD's Let's Talk with any questions/concerns that you may have. Your input is valuable! We are Stronger Together and will move mountains when we collaborate to seek the best response to teaching and learning for all members of our school community.
Respectfully,
Dr. Tran

Action Requested: Parent Curriculum Survey
Plano ISD has contracted with Curriculum Management Solutions, Inc. (CMSi) to conduct a comprehensive audit of the educational program of our school district. This audit is intended to provide the district with specific feedback regarding strengths and weaknesses in the structures and processes associated with the design and delivery of curriculum across the system, so changes can be made to improve student learning on every campus. Parents and guardians have the opportunity to complete an online survey regarding the strengths and weaknesses of the school district shortly before the audit site visit to each campus. If you choose to participate please access the link to the survey provided which can be completed from any internet-enabled device. Thank you, in advance, for providing your valuable and anonymous input into this survey.
