Save the date: Resilience Film Screening & Discussion on Adverse Childhood Experiences
This documentary delves into the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the movement to treat and prevent toxic stress. This screening is open to all staff, parents, community members as well as neighboring districts. It is very powerful and thought-provoking with a facilitated open discussion after the screening.
We know life experiences and mental health concerns are major today. All disciplines and stakeholders are being affected in schools and communities. The move to a trauma-informed approach to education and health is gaining ground in the U.S. and we can be a part of it by holding this program.
