Evaluating the Support of Examples
1. Ask students to read a passage and determine the main idea/character traits/theme/opinion
2. Have students write their main idea/character trait/theme/opinion in the first box
3. Have students work in pairs to find weak, some, and strong support
Alternate - find different levels of support and have students sort them into weak, some, and strong.
