April is a busy month! Our 3rd-6th grade are busy this month taking state assessments for reading, math, science, and social studies. We also have other assessments for students in all of our grades this time of year. Attendance is very important so students are able to complete testing and finish learning all of the essential skills to prepare them for next school year. We have started construction at the primary building. You can see progress already with the dirt work happening on the northside of our building. We look forward to see more progress with students in learning and our construction!

Library News
I was absolutely overwhelmed by the FABULOUS turnout at Book Fair Family Night Monday evening! Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who came to eat at the Book Fair Dinner and/or shop the fair!!! Your generosity will help fund the purchase of lots of books and other materials used to promote reading!
With March came the end of the third quarter of AR. As always, Gambino’s of Towanda provided free mini pizza coupons for the 125 students in grades 2-6 who reached their 3rd nine weeks AR Goals. The following students were awarded medals for being the top point earners in their grade levels:
2nd Grade:
1st - Aria Sandoval
2nd - Payson Flitz
3rd - Emma Glock
3rd Grade:
1st - Jayce Allen
2nd - Rylen Kon
3rd - Brooks Lechien
4th Grade:
1st - Knox Kessler
2nd - Brysen Kon
3rd - Alice Leatherwood
5th Grade:
1st - Henry Koehn
2nd - Trystan Moyer
3rd - Alicia Gibson
6th Grade:
1st - Aryia Barker
2nd - Abree Smith
3rd - Spencer Simpson
Five students earned more than the 35 points that I collected this nine weeks: Aryia Barker, Abree Smith, Henry Koehn, Brysen Kon, and Knox Kessler. These “Beat My Total” winners earned a can of pop.
Happy Reading!

Spangles Night- April 21st will be our last Spangles Night for the school year! Mention you are with CTE and our school will get a percentage of the sales for the evening, 5:00-8:00 pm.
Teacher Appreciation Week is coming in May! Watch your email for the Sign Up Genius for donations, coming out at the end of April.
THANK YOU’s- We want to say a big thank you for all the people who helped provide food for the Parent Teacher Conferences Staff Dinner. Everyone really enjoyed it! Also a big thank you for all that came out for the Spring Family Book Fair Dinner. It was a huge success and we loved seeing everyone!
Amazon Teacher Wish Lists: Want to help provide things for the classrooms but don’t know what teachers need? We have set up a wish list for each of our teachers to fill out as they have needs through Amazon. If you are interested, please see our PTO Facebook page.
BOXTOPS!! Since the Boxtop company has switched from clipping BoxTops to scanning your receipt through their app, we have seen a drastic decrease in participation. PLEASE consider downloading the APP and taking the time to scan your receipt when you shop! It’s super simple and helps our schools a lot!
Thank you for all your support! It really does MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
