A message from our District Office
Hello District Staff:
In order to handle old Curriculum materials properly, we are asking everyone to follow this procedure:
1. Take a photo of the textbook/book/workbook, etc.
2. Send an email to me with the photo providing the title of the material, quantity to discard and copyright information.
3. Once the Curriculum Team determines if the materials are current or outdated, I will notify you how to proceed with packing and shipping of the old materials.
Please do not give your old curriculum materials to your custodial department until you have followed this procedure.

Walk Through schedule:
Our first round of walk-throughs are underway and are working with the Math Department. Colleen and I are with the 6th grade teachers, LuAnn Lechtenberg with the 7th grade teachers, Kelly and Amber are with the 8th grade teachers, and Sam Ouk will check in with Math Transitions.

iPad support
Cords and chargers
Students will try to bring in defective or damaged cords for replacement. Cords and chargers are not covered by our loan agreement and need to be purchased. We are treating these as consumables and any damaged or non-working ones need to be purchased. We stopped the freebies at the beginning of last school year. They are too expensive and too many iPads come back with non-return of cords and chargers. They will just stop working and it is up to the student to replace.
If there is a financial burden to the family then they will need to schedule an appointment with the principal and I will work with them. We need to try to be consistent with this. Any questions I will work with the principals on a case by case basis.

Staff meetings / share out:
Learn from the very best.
At our monthly staff meetings we will be taking time to share out successes from your classrooms. If you are trying a new strategy, looking for a partner to experiment with a new project, or simply have a story to share, please let me know and we will set up a schedule to present at the staff meetings.
Homecoming parade supervisors
