Week Ahead @Southview
Week of October 21st-25th, 2019
We raised $6 619.65 for the Terry Fox Foundation!
A huge thanks to our good spirited teachers and students who participated in the pudding eating challenge that had us all laughing! Way to go Mrs Zwiers for your reigning champion status! Mrs. Borges was relieved when a group of kind hearted students came back after the assembly to help her get untaped from the wall. She was afraid of having to spend the night!
Again, a big thanks to all for this generous contribution and chance to raise awareness for this important cause that impacts us all in different ways. #WeAreOne

Me to We Campaign - WE SCARE HUNGER!
Monday October 21, 2019 kicks off the annual Me to We campaign, We Scare Hunger. We Scare Hunger is a food drive to raise awareness about hunger in the school, community and Canada and will run until Monday November 4, 2019. All of the non-perishable food items collected from the food drive will go towards the food bank in Napanee. This year our goal is to collect 1,500lbs of food! Below is a list of the top 5 needs of the food bank right now but any non-perishable is accepted! The classroom with the most donations will receive a pizza party and have the opportunity to throw pudding at a teacher!
Items:
Canned vegetables
Canned meat (flakes of tuna, chicken etc.)
Pasta Sauce
Crackers
Children’s school snacks
Together, let’s scare hunger!
Sincerely,
Your Me to We team
