Don't Bug Me, I'm Reading!
This week’s Reading Assembly began with a teacher sharing the number of books read as a school. Shepherd students have read 1,246 books -- this is incredible! We are well on our way to goal one of reading 6,000 books. If they reach their goal, students will earn an ice cream party! The last ten minutes of our assembly ended with the older students reading to their buddy. The reading excitement at Shepherd is very much alive!

All Saints Day Celebration
Wednesday, November 1 at the 8:30 am All School Mass
5K – 3rd grade children will be dressing up as their favorite Saint and taking part in a procession at the All Saint's Day Mass on Wednesday, November 1 at 8:30 am!
All students and staff that are not dressing up as Saints are asked to wear white clothing. White dress shirts (not needing to be uniforms) would work nicely, along with any dress code pants/skirts appropriate to wear to church on a feast day. This clothing will be worn to church to symbolize the liturgical color of white for the All Saint's Feast day liturgy and to help us keep in mind the promise of heaven to those pure and saintly souls.
