Celebrating Our Wildcats
Indiana Mr. Basketball Candidate
Tony Perkins
The 6-4 Iowa recruit was the statistical and emotional leader for a Lawrence North team that went 25-2 and won a Class 4A sectional title. Perkins averaged 18.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.8 steals per game, while shooting 58% from the field and 35% from the 3-point line. Perkins finished his high school career with 1,152 points. Lawrence North would have been on the short list of favorites to win the Class 4A state championship had the season continued. The Wildcats won their first Marion County tournament title since 2008 and first sectional title since 2015. (Kyle Neddenriep)
Congratulations to Tony on being one of five candidates for Mr. Basketball. Mr. and Miss Basketball will be announced on Friday, April 10th. GOOD LUCK!!!

And then...along came "BAND"...
