Think about what you are grateful and thankful for this week. I am thankful for all the classroom support, patience, and understanding this year from parents. I am thankful for a wonderful class who is excited to learn everyday on zoom classes!

Important Reminders
1. 3rd Grade -
Monday, Nov. 9th your child will take the ELA Check In remotely. Please look for directions and passwords to be sent through class dojo on Monday morning. There will be no live zoom classes the morning of Monday to allow time for your child to focus on the ELA Check In. After students finish the check in, there will be posted assignments in Google Classroom to work on.
2. 3rd Grade -
Tuesday, Nov. 10th your child will take the Math Check In remotely. Please look for directions and passwords to be sent through class dojo on Tuesday morning. There will be no live zoom classes the morning of Tuesday to allow time for your child to focus on the Math Check In. After students finish the check in, there will be posted assignments in Google Classroom to work on.
3. 2nd Grade -
We will have zoom classes as normal on Monday and Tuesday.
4. Please see new 2nd and 3rd grade schedule changes below. Please note the time changes to our schedule.
5. Please be sure your child is completing all learning responsibilities daily.
This includes each zoom class, google classroom assignments, google forms, google docs, razkids, dreambox, MobyMax math fact fluency, etc.
2nd Grade Learning Targets
Math:
I can add and subtract within 100 using different strategies of problem solving. (New Skill)

Reading:
I can ask and answer such questions as who, what, where, when, why, and how to demonstrate understanding of key details in a text. (Review Skill)

Spelling/Phonics:
I can print all upper and lowercase letters legibly and proportionally.
Writing:
I can write opinion papers introducing the topic, stating my opinion, give reasons that support my opinion, and providing a concluding statement. (Opinion Writing)
Social Studies:
I can Interpret maps of the school and community that contain symbols, legends and cardinal directions. (Review Skill)
