First Trimester

What to expect: Mother

At four weeks i your uterus your embryo is growing fast. Your breasts may be sore, and you'll have to urinate frequently. you may also have nausea.

In the seventh week your uterus has doubled its size, you may eat a lot.

In the tweelveth week, this is the time when you might have to buy maternity clothes.

What to expect: Baby

At four weeks your baby is going to be about the same size of a sesame seed.

In the fifth week, your baby will start forming its nose, mouth, and ears.

Then in the seventh week, it will start growing hands and feet.

The twelfth week, its fingers will soon begin to open and close, its toes will curl, its eye muscles will clench, and its mouth will make sucking movements.

Second Trimester

What to expect: Mother

You are now in your second trimester, your energy is returning and your breasts may feel tender. You can now find out what gender your baby is! you have probably gained about 5 pounds.

The seventeenth week you might feel a little bit off balanced.

Twenty weeks, you have hit halfway mark in your pregnancy.

what to expect: baby

your baby csn now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and maybe suck his thumb.

your baby is growing, it should be about four inches long.

its the seventeenth week and your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone.

twenty weeks, your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces

The twenty seventh week you week baby now weighs almost 2 pounds.

Third Trimester

What to expect: mother

You are in the home stretch. The final trimester starts on the twenty eighth week. Like most women, you will gain about a pound a week.

To accommodate you and your baby's growing needs, your blood volume has increased 40

to 50 percent since you got pregnant.

the 35th week your uterus now reaches up to your rib cage. now that your baby is taking up so much room, you may have trouble eating a normal sized meal.

You are in the twenty eighth week, your baby weighs about 2 1/4 pounds. your baby can now blink and has eye lashes.

The thirtieth week your baby is about 15.7 inches long.

Week thirty three, you baby weights about four pounds and is passed the seventeenth inch mark.

In the 40th week your baby is about 7 1/2 pounds, its skull and bones are not fused yet, which allows it to overlap a bit so it could fit through the birth canal.
