SRES School Site Council Election

Please click HERE to vote and be sure to select 4 candidates. The election process will be open from Sunday, October 6 through Friday, October 11th. The nominees with the highest number of votes will be named as the newest members of the School Site Council with a term of 2019-2021. Each parent/guardian may only vote once.

We are looking to hire someone to help keep our students and families safe crossing the streets. Important Safety Information

Starting Monday, October 7, 2019, the blacktops, play structure, and basketball courts, including the kindergarten playground, are closed after school. To ensure all students are safe, at 2:20 p.m.students are to move to the front of the school unless participating in a school-sponsored event. Thank you for reinforcing this important procedure with your students.

2019 Coyote Fund Run! Thank you!

Dear Sunset Ranch Community,

We want to thank you for your incredible support of the 2019 Sunset Ranch Coyote Fund Run! We exceeded our goal, raising a total of $41,695! We appreciate your donations and also your event day support. It was wonderful to see so many families out at the event to cheer on their students and to help count laps. We were so fortunate to have many donations from extended family and friends. Please be sure to thank everyone that supported this event.

We will be able to do many incredible things at Sunset Ranch because of your support.

Yearbook Cover Art Design Contest

Theme: #bestyearever


  • Design must be on an 8.5” by 11” piece of paper

  • Design must include the name of our school: Sunset Ranch

  • Also include the years: 2019-2020

  • Please have correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation

  • Include your name and teacher’s name on the back of your design in pencil


  • Must be a 6th grade student

Serve Day 2019!

Thank you to over 70 volunteers of families and students who spent over 3 hours weeding and spreading 17 yards of bark to beautify our school. Together we are better!

These gatherings are designed to thoughtfully consider some “content” (speakers, videos, readings) followed by facilitated table conversations with others in our community within a safe environment.

  • Space is limited to 45 participants for each session.

  • Sessions will build upon each other, but participants do not have to attend all of them.

  • Participants must indicate the sessions they are planning to attend so that we can plan accordingly.
