Alan Turing and Tim Berners-Lee

Tim Berners Lee was an English computer scientist, he invented the world wide web.

Alan Turing was a British scientist and pioneer in computer science. in world war 2 he developed a machine that helped break the German enigma code. he also laid down the groundwork of modern computing.

The Motherboard, Monitor and Touch Screen

The Motherboard is the main printed circuit board, found in general purpose microcomputers and other expandable systems.

The Monitor of the computer is actually just the screen.

CPU, RAM and Inputs/Outputs

CPU also known as the Central Processing Unit is the part of the computer system that is commonly referred to as the brains of a computer. it is responsible for executing a sequenced of stored instructions called a program.

RAM means random access memory, a type of computer memory that can be accessed randomly; that is, any byte of memory can be accessed without touching the preceding bytes. RAM is the most common type of memory found in computers and other devices, such as printers.

Inputs/Outputs is the communication between an information processing unit system such as a computer, and the outside world, possibly a human or another information processing system.

Hard Drive and Optical Drive

A Hard Drive is a disk drive used to read from and write to a hard disk.

An Optical Drive is a disk drive that uses laser light or electromagnetic waves within or near the visible light spectrum as part of the process of reading or writing data to or from optical disks.
