100% ATTENDANCE FOR THE MONTH!
ATTENDANCE COUNTS HERE AT INTERMEDIATE EAST!
“The 100% Attendance Club” is sponsored by our PTO! In order to promote consistency in attendance and teach students the positive effects of being in school regularly, we will have a drawing at the end of every month for each homeroom for the students who have 100% attendance for that month. That name will be submitted along with the other homerooms for a school wide drawing to pick a winner. They will receive a gift from the PTO. This will begin October 3, 2022.

What is a Student Assistance Coordinator- SAC ?
SACs work with students regarding substance abuse related issues, social and emotional issues, behavioral issues, and crisis intervention and response. SACs’ additional responsibilities include examining curriculum development, staff training, policy review, counseling and related services, community relationships and consultation, and implementation of other interventions needed to support students.
Staff, administration and families may refer a student to the SAC who may be in need of additional support to help them in their overall success. In addition to a confidential and safe office for students to come and talk, a SAC will assess, intervene and refer as needed. Contact your school SAC should you have any questions or concerns.
