- November 21st-25th-Thanksgiving Break-No School
We have multiple cases of Covid, Influenza A and RSV reported throughout the district. There is no mandatory quarantine at this time for being exposed to any of these viruses. However, if your student starts to have symptoms of illness such as fever, cough, sore throat, or nasal congestion it is recommended they stay home from school until they are feeling well enough to attend to help curb the spread of illness to others. If your child has a positive Covid test we ask that they isolate for five days from the onset of symptoms or positive test with the first day of symptoms/test being day 0. If you would like to have your child tested for COVID, you can schedule a test with our district nursing staff by calling the OPE front office at 971-200-8003. Also, we have home covid tests available. We would be happy to send one home with your student at your request.
In accordance with the Oregon Department of Education and the Oregon Health Authority Public Health Division, the Scappoose School District is participating in the Student Health Survey. The survey is made available to 11th graders. Information about the survey is available here. If for any reason you wish to opt-out of this survey, please complete the opt-out portion of the form and return it to the office. If you would like to read the survey, a copy is available in the main office.
Please read below for important announcements.

*There have been some issues with the FAFSA website. It has been hit or miss for the past week. Hopefully, the site will be more stable in the coming weeks. Additionally, the FSA ID process is taking a bit longer this year, likely due to the new two-factor authentication. Students/Families should still try to obtain their FSA ID prior to completing the FAFSA/ORSA.
