Teachers and students worked with their fifth period classes to make the hallways look a little more festive for the final two weeks of the semester! Here are a few of the doors.

CMHS Awareness Project
With the holiday season in swing, don't be afraid to utilize the resources provided by our new Clinton-Massie Awareness Project! The new program is designed to bring awareness to the resources that we offer here at Clinton-Massie. You can access a free shower, washer and dryer, hygiene products, food pantries, and more through our new website that you can find here. We are here to help all of those in need, no shame!

CCF Portal Opened December 1st
The Clinton County Foundation Scholarship Portal opened December 1st.

Students have from December 1-March 15 to apply for many scholarships via one application. The CCF asks that you use a personal email address for your application and suggests that you have your application completed by March 1 in order to give your recommenders time to submit recommendations. If you have any questions, see your school counselor or email scholarshiphelp@clintoncountyfoundation.org.

Laurel Oaks Information
Laurel Oaks is now accepting applications for next school year! If you are interested in attending, you must submit the application by February 6th for priority consideration. We will be sending your transcript and report card after winter break - it is very important that you are passing your classes in order to have the best chance of being accepted!
All sophomores will be visiting Laurel Oaks on Friday, January 12th. Please make sure your FinalForms are updated and complete; you will not be allowed to attend if they are not submitted.

Reminder About Attendance...
A parent/guardian may call a student in up to 10 (ten) days per school year. Any absences beyond 10 days will need a doctor's note to be excused.
*Please reference the CMHS Student Handbook pp. 14-16 for the complete Attendance Policy.
II. Attendance Guidelines
A. The attendance policy will cover each semester that the student is enrolled;
B. Each Student will be permitted a maximum of sixty (60) hours of absences per school year without independent verification; i.e. doctor excuse, etc.
C. Until a student accumulates sixty (60) hours of absences in a school year, a note or a phone call from the parent or guardian will excuse the absence for one of the reasons listed below. If a note or phone call is not provided to the school by the parent or guardian within forty-eight (48) hours, i.e. two business days, of the student’s return to school, the absence will be unexcused;
