- Realism: A situation, in which, children can relate to in reality.
- Expressionism: The illustration including distorted shapes, such as the characters' heads.
Analyzing Particular Images
- The main character is in every picture which catches your eye because of the exaggeration of his character.
- The color scheme of the book had a warmth feel to the reader, along with varied circular shapes.
- However, there was no use of the "negative white space."
