Lawrence School District
Heading into summer with preparation and pride
Capital Improvements Underway
Progress has not stopped in Lawrence. The learners are engaged in instruction and teachers, leaders, and families have worked tirelessly to embrace the impact of closed school buildings. While the buildings are closed, the work continues to prepare for September. Health and safety will remain the top consideration for us. To ensure a secure, healthy building, the Lawrence 195 Broadway campus is getting the finishing touches on the new roof. This important step makes way for new ceilings and ductwork for the first set of Classrooms to be air-conditioned. Contractors are following all safety protocol as they work towards improving many areas of the campus including the addition of an adaptive physical education apace, new security entrance, and new locker rooms.
Final touches on the last phase of the roofing work
Full renovation for the locker rooms and adaptive PE space.
