Making the Most of the 2-Teacher Classroom

Learn how to support inclusive, or collaborative teaching models in K–12 classrooms and beyond. Common barriers to successful implementation like planning time, differentiating instruction, and shared responsibility, and maintaining the integrity of instructional standards will be addressed. A variety of engaging, thought provoking activities will arm participants with strategies, ideas, and samples to support their work in these settings.

Buddy Comet

Buddy Comet is an education activist dedicated to building high quality teaching and learning communities, one square mile at time. Buddy is a National Board Certified teacher, a New Teacher Center national presenter, and an educational coach accelerating the effectiveness of teachers and administrators through professional coaching.

Alicia Sullivan

Alicia Sullivan is an educator, activist and blogger. She has been a public school teacher in Rhode Island for 11 years. Since coaching beginning teachers for two years as a part of RI’s statewide Induction Program, Alicia has returned to her 6th grade classroom in West Warwick, RI. Alicia believes that student learning is no accident, and that the best way to improve student learning is to empower and celebrate teachers.
