Fire Prevention Week

October 4th - 10th is Fire Prevention Week, and our students received a visit from the Marion Fire Department.

Classroom Read Aloud with Mr. Ewald

Throughout the week of October 5th, Mr. Ewald was in classrooms to read Creepy Carrots by Aaron Reynolds. At the end of the week, October 9th, he will have visited every classroom.

I encourage you to ask your child(ren), what was Jasper Rabbit's problem and how did he solve it?

The Starry Library is inviting everyone to get into the fall spirit and decorate (NOT carve) a pumpkin like a favorite book character.

Students and staff are bringing their pumpkins to the school library for display throughout the month of October.

As a part of Iowa's Healthiest State Initiative, all of our students joined with all of the Marion High School students on Friday (10/9) afternoon to walk approximately 0.8 of a mile.

Mr. Ewald would like you to join Parents!

Learn more about Remind

I plan to use Remind as an efficient communication tool to share short messages that pertain to all of the parents at Starry.
