Charlotte Pond- Charlotte is an amazing kid! She is always helpful to others. She follows the rules and works hard. She knows all of her color words and can count to 100! Charlotte is always singing songs and has a smile on her face! She is such a joy and pleasure to have in class.
Rocco LaMonica- I choose Rocco because he is sweet and kind to everyone, whether it is a teacher, adult in the building, or another student. Rocco follows directions the first time and stays on task until his work is completed. He is always willing to help others in the classroom. He is a great kid!
First Grade
Gabe Thomas- Gabe is such a hard worker, and comes into class every day ready to learn with a smile on his face. He always tries his best, and is helpful to everyone in our class. He is a great role model for his classmates!
Mack Hartzler - Mack is a hardworking, well behaved first grader who always strives to do his best in all academic areas. He is kind, caring, helpful and resourceful. He is a leader among his peers. He has a strong work ethic and wants to succeed. His parents can be very proud of him. Way to go, Mack!
Second Grade
Bristol Woody- Bristol is an energetic student who shows a love of learning every day. She comes to class prepared and ready to participate; often raising her hand to answer questions asked by her teachers. When asked to clarify her thoughts, she is able to give sound reasoning. She completes optional projects and shows her creativity in doing so. More importantly, Bristol is a child of character demonstrated by her helpfulness and compassion towards her classmates. It is a joy and an honor to have Bristol among our second grade students as a role model.
Gunnar Sayre- Gunnar is a kind and compassionate child who participates frequently in class and encourages his classmates. He is willing to push through adversity and concentrate on his studies; maintaining excellent classwork. At times, Gunnar shows his sensitivity by lending a hand to someone who needs it. FALL PARTIES
Counselor's Corner
My name is Abby Bartholomew. I am a case manager through Anazao, and we partner with the school. This is my second year here at Hazel Harvey, and I am here everyday. I enjoy interacting and working with all of the students. My role at the school is to assist with the mental health side of things - feelings/emotions, and social skills. I meet individually with students, and hold weekly groups. If you are interested, have questions, or would like more information, you can reach out to me via email at bartholomewa@anazaocommunitypartners.org, or you can contact the school. I look forward to this year, working and getting to know everyone!
COCA-COLA GIVE
JUST A THOUGHT...
Make a point of finding something to praise every day. Soon you will find you are "growing" more of the behavior you would like to see.
