Steps
Clean The Walls And Ceiling
- Use a sponge with water and a little bit of dish soap
- Rinse with water to remove soap residue and let dry
Edges
- Use a 2.5" trim brush to paint around edges where wall and ceiling meet
- Apply coating around perimeter
Ceiling
- Remove excess paint from roller
- Start near corner of room
- Paint entire ceiling
- Let dry
Walls
- Use trim brush to paint around edges and windows and doors at least 2"-3"
- Start in corner of room and paint with roller in W pattern and fill in without lifting the roller
- Let dry
Trim
- Where trim meets wall apply blue painters paint
- Paint trim with 2 inch brush
- Let dry
Amount Of Paint
12 X 12 X 8 room
- Most gallons of paint will cover 400 square feet so if painting just walls 1 gallon will be enough but if also painting ceilings you'll need 2 gallons
