Halloween Costume Contest at Lunch on 10/29

Come down to the front of the gym and participate in the category that best describes your costume! A panel of judges will decide the winner. Winners will receive a small prize! Remember - all costumes must follow the school dress code. No weapons or full-face masks!

AP Exams Registration

ID Number/Cards required for Free Lunch

Since October 11, students have been required to give their ID number or show their ID card to receive their free lunch. The snack line requires a card, and the cafeteria takes numbers.

Free After School Tutoring - Now in the Library!

Free tutoring is now being offered Monday-Thursday from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm in the Library, and in-season athletes can take advantage of the program on Tuesday and Thursday at lunch. Email Mrs. Miller if you have any questions.

Dual Enrollment

SVHS through Moorpark College is offering 3 Dual Enrollment classes this Spring. They are ART M20 Two Dimensional Design, CD M02 Human Development and SOC M01 Intro to Sociology. Aeries Parent Data Confirmation

Thank you to everyone that has logged into Aeries to complete the data confirmation. If you have not yet filled it out, please go to the link below and fill out the required information.

COVID PROTOCOLS

  • All parents must screen students before leaving the house (see graphic below).

  • Students must wear masks indoors, regardless of vaccination status.

  • Students may take off masks indoors to eat or drink.

  • Masks are recommended outdoors, but not mandatory.

  • Physical distancing will not be required, but school officials will encourage it.

  • Visitors will not be allowed on campus. To the extent possible, meetings with counselors and teachers will be done via Zoom.

  • Classrooms will be stocked with bottles of hand sanitizer.

  • Classrooms will be disinfected daily. Restrooms multiple times a day.

  • All classrooms receive a minimum of five fresh air exchanges per hour

    exceeding the recommended rate.

  • If the school learns that a student is considered a close contact* the health clerk, nurse, or administrator will be reaching out to the family as soon as possible.
