Reminders & Resources
Safety
- Have an updated roster, with emergency contacts, in your safety folder.
- Remember that you are always the last person out of your room. This allows you to ensure that all students have left the room and that you have closed your door.
- Remind students to stay quiet during drills and live events so they can hear your instructions or announcements made of the intercom.
- Remind students that when they are in the cafeteria that they should be in their seats and listening to the adults in the cafeteria.
- Check out the FCSS safety page for more resources.
Afternoon Duty Stations
Specials Drop-off and Pick-up
Please be on time to pick-up your students from specials. At times, specials teachers are not able to start their next class on time due to teachers being late for pick-up. This causes a shorter class for students and planning times for teachers.
