explain plant adaptations
Plants have hard summers and winters but beautiful falls and springs. During summer plants dry out making them brownish. Durning winter the plants freeze. During spring and fall the plants have the best growth as plants are just right.
Definitions
Sepal - each of the parts of the calyx of a flower, enclosing the petals and typically green and leaflike.
Petal - each of the segments of the corolla of a flower, which are modified leaves and are typically colored.
Stamen - male fertilizing organ of a flower, typically consisting of a pollen-containing anther and a filament.
Anther - the part of a stamen that contains the pollen.
Pistil - the part of a stamen that contains the pollen.
Ovary - female reproductive organ in which ova or eggs are produced, present in humans and other vertebrates as a pair.
