*NEW MUST SEE* Parent Controls in GoGuardian
Parents now have the capability to block specific websites, pause internet access, and define time restrictions on district-issued Chromebooks! These capabilities would only be available during a predefined “out of school” hours so that the parent controls do not interfere with teacher controls. Parents need to download the APP and use the email address used during school registration. Please see detailed information regarding parent controls within GoGuardian. Note: GoGuardian does not track usage on kindergarten iPad devices.

D47 Teaching and Learning Highlights
We’d like to spotlight the great teaching and learning going on both remotely and in-person in District 47. Excited about something a student has learned? Want to give a shout-out to a special teacher? Please email a brief description and/or photos to Denise Barr, Director of Communications and Public Engagement, at firstname.lastname@example.org or post to social media with hashtag #forward47. The District will include these highlights in the weekly “D47in47” video.
Does your family need assistance in order to meet their needs? If so, please complete this Family Assistance English form or Family Assistance Spanish form. During the 2020-2021 school year, Indian Prairie Social Workers will add an anonymous texting service called “Remind 101”. This will help families receive private, quick, and simple up to date information. Please note that resources are very limited, and completing this form is NOT a guarantee of assistance."
