Weekly Update

November 20, 2020

We would like to wish all of our students and families a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving. We are incredibly grateful for all of the amazing care givers that have collaborated with us to provide meaningful educational experiences for your children. Your collaboration and cooperation have been greatly appreciated and noticed. We know that your Thanksgiving holiday may not be your traditional holiday this year due to social distancing and safety guidelines, but we certainly hope that all of you have an opportunity to relax, recharge and enjoy your families.

Best Wishes,

The Entire Indian Prairie Staff

D47 Teaching and Learning Highlights

We’d like to spotlight the great teaching and learning going on both remotely and in-person in District 47. Excited about something a student has learned? Want to give a shout-out to a special teacher? Please email a brief description and/or photos to Denise Barr, Director of Communications and Public Engagement, at dbarr@d47.org or post to social media with hashtag #forward47. The District will include these highlights in the weekly “D47in47” video.

Tech Support

If you are struggling with your device and need support, please email techsupport@d47.org. They will get back to you to assist.

Support Available

Does your family need assistance in order to meet their needs? If so, please complete this Family Assistance English form or Family Assistance Spanish form. During the 2020-2021 school year, Indian Prairie Social Workers will add an anonymous texting service called “Remind 101”. This will help families receive private, quick, and simple up to date information. Please note that resources are very limited, and completing this form is NOT a guarantee of assistance."
