Dear Parents,

First and foremost, I want to take this opportunity to thank the Rose PTO for hosting such an incredible event last weekend. The Casino Night was a very special experience for our Rose community because it brought us all together for a few hours of fun and celebration. It was so nice to see our Rose parents out mingling and celebrating our amazing school by connecting with old friends, meeting new people, and donating to our school. The committee left no detail undone; the food, decorations, and entertainment were perfectly synchronized to make a special evening for all in attendance. I enjoyed seeing everyone and can’t wait for the next big PTO family event.

  • Parent Teacher Conferences: Meet the Teacher scheduling will close on March 13. Conferences will be held on the evenings of March 16 & 17, 2022. There is no school on Friday, March 18th.

  • Spirit Week: Student Council is sponsoring spring spirit week starting next Monday. It’s a great time to celebrate spring as we are all getting ready for a much needed spring break vacation!

  • COVID Updates: We have 1 positive student COVID case reported at Rose School this week and 4 students in quarantine. We have 0 positive staff cases to report. If you have additional questions about positive cases and quarantines, you can also check the district COVID Dashboard for up-to-date district COVID information. Please note that beginning this week, elementary schools are sending a note to students in a homeroom class with a confirmed positive case.

  • Barrington 220 is excited to embark on a strategic planning process called Framework 220, which will define the school district’s future vision and initiatives over the next three to five years. The district is very interested in casting a broad net to our school and community stakeholders to better understand our community’s expectations and priorities for Barrington 220. This is why we are launching the process by asking all of our parents and community members to complete this online questionnaire. As a parent and staff member in this district, your voice is critical. The more responses we receive the better we will understand the expectations of our community. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. To learn more about how you can participate, visit:

Enjoy the rest of the week!

Parents' Night Out - Thank You!

Thank you to our Rose community for your generous support of Parents Night Out on Saturday, March 5th. The Viva Las Vegas event was an incredible evening of community and fundraising to support the redesign of grade level pod spaces. It was wonderful to see our vibrant Rose community gather together to support our students. We are grateful for your generous contributions of time, talent, sponsorships and donations to make this event so successful. A special thank you to our Parents Night Out committee, Angelique Doyle, Asima Bangash, Gina Kaiser, and Olivia Metelanski, and to our PTO Executive Board. We will share more fundraising results and photos soon!
